After remixing some of music’s biggest club culture hits, Boston Bun drops his (own) debut single “Don’t Wanna Dance.”

The Island Records-released effort features vocal samples in conjunction with dance floor savvy and horn-rich instrumentation to create an exciting and infectious Moby-like, Gospel-tinged banger. Lyrics come in the form of “Please don’t try to take me by the hand/I already told you that you weren’t my man/I don’t mean this you blew your last chance/Pretty baby I don’t wanna dance.”

Mentored and managed by fellow DJ/producer Jax Jones and dance music royalty Mark Ronson, the French artist’s newest recording, originally signed to Europe’s high profile, Ed Banger Records, reflects his industry connections and sounds more like a seasoned musician’s creation rather than a first attempt. This original composition is just the start for the Paris-native who has drawn more inspiration from the sounds of EDM heavyweights Justice and Mr. Oizo.
