Boogie and Eminem released the video for their new single “Rainy Days” on Wednesday (February 20th). The duo’s much-hyped collaboration is the fourth single off the Compton native’s debut album for Shady Records, Everythings For Sale.
In the clip, the 29-year-old delivers his flow, reciting “I’ve been thuggin’ through my rainy days, for days/I ain’t really tryna hang today, today/I need changes in a major way, a way/I just pray I never fade away, away,” over a gloomy chorus. Turning up the vibe, Em drops in with a lightning-fast blitz of words: “I promise not to cry crocodile tears/If you end up shocked at my lyrics/Marshall is dead in the water, but not that I care/Dre said ‘rock the boat’ and the Doc is my pier.”
The whole visual takes place within a graffiti-strewn room as storm clouds brew around the rappers. Check out the new-meets-old collaboration between Eminem and Boogie “Rainy Days” below.
