With the lion’s share of late night talk shows still broadcasting from home, Jimmy Fallon’s house band, the Roots, has been experimenting with “at-home remixes” during quarantine, using household objects to remotely perform iconic pop songs. Their latest take was a rendition of “Dancing With Myself,” featuring the one and only Billy Idol.

Along with the show’s host, members of The Roots, and the legendary pop rocker, the Late Night team assembled a video of the musicians spliced together with clips of Tonight Show fans dancing while quarantined in their homes. With social distancing an integral part of current day life it’s heartwarming to see people dancing together in one way or another, even if they all have to be six feet apart. Check out the group playing “Dancing With Myself” with the help of spatulas, jars and blenders.

In other Billy Idol news, the 64-year-old is set to perform at Asbury Park, New Jersey’s 2020 Sea.Hear.Now Festival on September 19th and 20th, along with Pearl Jam, Patti Smith, the Beach Boys, the Avett Brothers, Cage the Elephant and more. Though COVID-19 may postpone or cancel the live event, tickets can still be purchased here.
