Released this past Friday on Universal Music, Big Sean is making a huge comeback with his post-breakup banger “Single Again”.

Throughout his career, Sean has been in and out of highly-publicized relationships with, amongst others, Jhené Aiko, Ariana Grande, and Naya Rivera. After spending some time away from music to reconnect with his soul, the “Bounce Back” artist says fans are dealing with a totally new, leveled-up version of himself.

The deep recording sees the Detroit native making his status clear with assists from ex-girlfriend Aiko and Ty Dolla $ign on background vocals. He recites “Instead of blaming all my old girls when I leave (What?)/ Instead of calling up these fake hoes that I don’t need (What?)/ Old relationships turn to new déjà vus/ Got me feeling like “I don’t fuck with you”/ Oh nah, nah, that’s the old me (Old)/ You fucking with the new me.” Listen to and watch the visual for Big Sean’s most recent and revealing song below.

The 31-year-old continued to detail how important it was to find personal solace rather than rely on others for the same. He took to Twitter, saying “I never knew that I didn’t know how to be alone in life. I always would find so much joy n happiness in a relationship or being with friends, but I didn’t know how important it was to be in a relationship with yourself.”
