Among the artists who have showed their support for the victims of the Orlando shooting and their families, none other than Beyoncé has finally spoken out and sent her condolences last night (June 14). Queen Bey closes every concert on her “Formation” world tour with the song “Halo” off of her 2008 album I Am…Sasha Fierce. And last night, she dedicated the song to “all the family members who lost family members in Florida,” giving a nod to both the victims of the shooting as well as Voice alum Christina Grimmie, who was fatally shot outside her concert in Orlando. As Beyoncé introduced her closer, she stated that this “is a song about love.”
@beyoncColombia thank you for caring, i love you beyonce!

Bey is one of many musicians to show solidarity with the victims who lost their lives in Orlando this past weekend. Lady Gaga and Nick Jonas attended vigils where they shared words of support to the grieving families, while Adele dedicated her performance to them as well. In addition, both Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber paid tribute to their close friend Christina Grimmie, dedicating performances to her while fighting back tears.
