The Palestinian-Canadian recording artist just released his newest album Mumble Rap which follows his previous albums, Up For Days, Another Day in Paradise and Inzombia.
Giving out almost no features to other artists, Belly took on the entire album by himself, chronicling his humble beginnings in Ottawa to having a bridge that crosses over his backyard pool which he bought with his new fortune. Though the album isn’t all about the come-up as he also speaks on personal-emotional problems that he’s had throughout his life.
The rapper takes special aim at mumble rappers via the name of the album but also through the title track by being surprisingly articulate for a modern rap artist.
Overall, Mumble Rap is a great album that will grow to be even better than it is at first listen. Stream the album below.
