The Backstreet Boys gave 90’s kids everywhere a shock when they made a surprise appearance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. While previously announcing their Las Vegas residency, the 90’s boy band sensation was introduced by Florida Georgia Line who sang the opening lines to their hit single “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).”

“We’re diggin’ our roots right? Gotta go back, baby. Gotta go back,” one-half of the country duo said. “I’m talking sixth grade. Orlando, Florida. Backstreet Boys.”

“So…Las Vegas. We’re here. Pretty much, we’re the Backstreet Boys?” Hubbard teased before launching into the 1997 classic.

The five band members then appeared onstage and performed a string of their greatest hits. Following “Everybody,” the ‘boys performed “Larger Than Life,” “I Want It That Way,” and “As Long As You Love Me.”

The iHeartRadio Music Festival took place Saturday, September 24 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Other artists that performed include Drake, Zedd, and headlining performance by the Queen of Vegas herself, Britney Spears.

As The Elite Daily previously announced, the Backstreet Boys will serve a residency in Sin City at the Axis at planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The nine-show term is now extended to three months with the first show beginning March 1, 2017.
