Almost one year after the tragic death of Avicii (born Tim Bergling), the mega-talent’s team has announced the released of his posthumous album, Tim.

According to a press release, the Swedish musician was close to completing a new project prior to his his premature passing but left a collection of “nearly finished songs along with notes, email conversations and text messages about the music.” Now, his songwriting collaborators have finished the creative process, attempting to complete with Bergling’s original vision as closely as possible. Reportedly, Nicky Romero was blessed with two whole folders of unreleased material by the “Levels” creator before he passed.

Tim will be released on June 6th, following the leading single in April 10th. Proceeds from the album will go to the nonprofit Tim Bergling Foundation, which his family started shortly after his untimely passing, in order to raise awareness about mental illness and suicide. The DJ/visionary’s last album was 2015’s Stories. He collaborated with artists like Rita Ora, Adam Lambert, David Guetta, Lenny Kravitz, and Madonna.
