Better known to fans by his stage name Avicii, Tim Bergling is and has been a standout figure in the electronic dance music scene for years. His songs “Levels,” “Wake Me Up,” “Seek Bromance,” “Silhouettes” and more helped shape the sound of EDM throughout the 2010’s though the artist passed on in 2018.

Many have tried to immortalize the renowned DJ/producer’s memory in song, artwork and tributary concerts and the most permanent reminder of the Swedish native’s existence may now be his wax statue that was recently unveiled at New York’s Madame Tussauds museum. For those who can’t visit, the very life-like interpretation can be seen in the video below.

“We are always looking to create those celebrities who have made a significant impact on their field, and I think that it’s easy to see that Avicii is one of the most iconic musicians of our generation,” says Tom Middleton, general manager of Madame Tussauds NY. “For us, it was the perfect opportunity in conjunction with his family to really celebrate his life and his career and allow guests to relive some of this icon’s most notable performances.”
