Avicii’s illustrious touring career will come to a bittersweet end this weekend as he performs for the last time on Sunday at Ushuaïa Ibiza.

Avicii (real name Tim Bergling) first made his retirement known back in March penning an open letter on his social media channels. While speculations swirled about the “Wake Me Up” producer’s struggle with drugs, he made it clear that the decision to retire was due to serious health concerns.

Bergling reassured his fans that he will continue to make music even in the absence of live performances, even stating that he might even return to the festival main stage again. “I can’t say I’m never going to have a show again,” he wrote earlier in this year.

Between January 1, 2011 and January 1, 2016, the 26 year old artist played an insane 220 DJ sets in 261 weeks. I think it is fair that he is entitled to take a break for now. So if by chance you’re in Spain this weekend click here for more information on how to check out Avicii’s final farewell.
