Ava Max is on a hot streak with her single “Sweet but Psycho,” moving from #24* to #15* in consecutive weeks to its current position at #10* on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. Having previously worked with Jason Derulo and David Guetta, the 24-year-old Wisconsin native’s experience has transferred over to her strong solo effort, landing her in the Top 10.

The lyrics on the first verse, “She’ll make you curse, but she a blessing/She’ll rip your shirt within a second/You’ll be coming back, back for seconds/With your plate, you just can’t help it,” detail Max’s effort to lure in an unsuspecting lover which is displayed throughout the official video where she poisons the mind of her current love interest.
