This years Mother’s Day took place during a global pandemic and with so many mom’s and their children isolated from each other several musicians paid homage to their loved ones online rather than in person.

Because social distancing / shelter-in-place restrictions apply to everyone a number of artists took to social media to show off the women who raised them. Among those posting sweet messages to the moms in their lives was Ariana Grande, who shared a beautiful black-and-white throwback pic of herself and mother, Joan, a photo with grandma, and one with her puppy. “i luv u forever,” captioned the 26-year-old songstress, who just released the new charity collaboration “Stuck With U” with pal Justin Bieber on May 8th. Champagne Papi took to Instagram and threw it back to his pre-music days, as he posted a pic of himself as a toddler embracing his mommy. He captioned the image: “Happy Mother’s Day to all the big time women out there doing the hardest work on gods green earth.”

Taylor Swift went beyond the traditional still pictures with a video taken by her mom. The Pennsylvania native showed off her beginnings in music by singing into the camera as a toddler. Watch the cute clip here.
