Adele encouraged her fans to scream along with her final song ‘Someone Like You’ during her Glastonbury performance on Saturday night, and the beautiful result might make you teary-eyed.
Stepping off the Pyramid Stage for the final song of her ballad-laden set, Adele walked right up to the barrier between the stage and her adoring audience where they took over the chorus of ‘Someone Like You.’ She insisted that they sing their absolute loudest–and they sure didn’t hold back.
Leading up to the night’s big finish, the British singer dragged audience members on stage for selfies, stage dived, and swore a cool 33 times. And the first words to come out of her mouth were “This is the best fuckin’ moment of my whole life.”
“Do you know how rock ‘n’ roll I am?” Adele jokingly quipped. “Not very, but the BBC had to give me a warning about my potty mouth before I went on. I bet Muse didn’t get that.”
While one fan sang passionately into the pop star’s microphone during the emotional finale, most of the crowd didn’t need a mic to be heard loud and clear. Adele’s voice sounds incredible as usual.
