Four years ago, when Above & Beyond went on their most recent string of acoustic concerts, they drew 17,000 people to the Hollywood Bowl in LA. Their set consisted of beautiful tunes performed by an orchestra, as well as appearances from frequent collaborators Zoë Johnston, Cobi, Justine Suissa, and Natalie Holmes. Now the recording of that show is here.

The original project began in 2013 when the Trance trio dropped an instrumental album and proceeded to treat fans to a live showing of that material at The Porchester Hall in London and The Greek Theatre, located in Los Angeles. With fans wanting more, they brought the concept back with sell-out “Acoustic II” shows at The Royal Albert Hall, Sydney Opera House, and The Hollywood Bowl. History is once again repeating itself and Above & Beyond have announced their plans for Acoustic III.

The new compilation will be accompanied by a tour of some of the most prestigious concert venues in the UK and North America, including London’s Royal Albert Hall and The Alexandra Palace Theatre, New York’s Radio City Music Hall, The Kennedy Centre in Washington DC, plus the Greek Theatres in Los Angeles and Berkeley. The trek will culminate with a special edition performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on July 1st, accompanied by the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.
