Part and parcel with Ableton supporting aspiring and existing artists by offering their newest edition of Live Suite for a 90-day free trial earlier this year, they’ve announced the next iteration, Ableton Live 11, coming in 2021.

One of the world’s leading digital audio workstations, Ableton’s newest edition is slated to receive a significant upgrade from its circa-2018 predecessor. Developers have focused on improving the essential workflow features such as MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression) that allows users full-control of their MIDI instruments interaction and comping, allowing users to record and edit multiple takes in real-time.

There will be a set of performance updates that will help musicians enhance their creative control while making music with such tools as Note Expression View as well as five new virtual instrument and effect plugins: Hybrid Reverb, Spectral Resonator, Spectral Time, Pitch Loop 89, and Inspired by Nature.

No official release date for Live 11 has yet to been announced but public beta testing is available to current registered users of Live 10 and 9 and free upgrades to Live 11 are available when purchasing Live 10, now 20% off here.
