Tekashi 6ix9ine has apparently never heard the term “snitches get stitches” as he rats out many a fellow gang member in court. As part of his plea deal, the rapper is giving away information that could implicate many others in a variety of crimes.
Real name Daniel Hernandez said he met many members of the Trey Nine Bloods while on set for his “GUMMO” music video in 2017, the same day he met his manager Kifano “Shotti” Jordan. Still images from the video were shown in court as the colorful hip hop star pointed out the various gang members. The controversial lyricist reportedly never had to be initiated, nor did he have to shoot anyone to get in. Nine Trey Bloods wanted him on their team for his bankroll.
At one point, he “nervously” pointed out the defendants Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack and Anthony “Harv” Ellison. He also identified fellow artist Trippie Redd as a member of rival gang Five Nine Brims. His snitching might be getting him a lesser sentence, but the rap community, featuring Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Meek Mill and more, have publicly expressed their disapproval.
Tekashi was arrested on racketeering charges in November 2018 and was reportedly looking at a minimum of 47 years behind bars, but cooperating with authorities may help him get out sooner.
