With the recent announcement of a festival taking place on the 50th anniversary and at the same location as the famous 1969 Woodstock gathering, music enthusiasts have flocked to reserve their spots – 8 months ahead of the show happening August 16th-18th.
The Times Herald-Record of Middletown reports that many motels, bed-and-breakfasts and Airbnb rentals are already sold out in Sullivan County, a rural area 85 miles (140 kilometers) northwest of New York City where the Bethel Woods Music and Culture Festival will take place. Most accommodations closest to the venue have already been booked solid in anticipation for an anniversary show such as this.
People interested in attending the three-day event which may contain artists such as Chance The Rapper, Pink, Mumford and Sons, Lumineers, Neil Young, Phish, Daft Punk, Swedish House Mafia, and deadmau5, are being advised to check out the Sullivan County Visitors Association website for lodging information. Stay tuned for news regarding ticket sales.
